Paws en route (PAWS) is a full-service pet transportation company. We provide the following ground transportation offering:

• Local Rides (less than 50 kms)
• Long Rides (greater than 50 kms)

Types of services provided to pet parents include but are not limited to:

• Veterinary appointments/emergencies
• Grooming appointments
• Airport pick-ups and drop-offs
• Boarding/ daycare
• Social outings & playdates
• Customs Brokerage services

What we are looking for:

• Pet lover, have 5+ years of experience working with or caring for animals
• Strong customer service skills
• You are at least 21 years of age
• You have a valid class G or better driver license with a clean driving record
• You have working experience with pets and are an animal lover
• You understand that the safety of pets in your care is a priority
• You have proven communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• You are punctual and dependable
• Experience in the transportation or pet industries would be an asset.

What you will need – You own a vehicle:

• It must have 4 doors; preferably a SUV
• It must be no more than 7 years old
• It must be in good condition with no rust or cosmetic damage (please note that salvaged or rebuilt vehicles are not acceptable)
• It must be free of commercial branding
• It must pass an inspection by a licensed mechanic

** Please note criminal record, driver’s abstract checks, proof of vehicle registration and insurance will be required as will a safety standards certificate.
