About Paws en route

A Higher Standard for Pet Travel

At Paws en route, we believe pet travel should be handled with the same care, planning, and respect as any member of the family. That belief is what drives everything we do—from how journeys are planned to how pets are cared for along the way.
Let's Talk

Why Paws en route

We are a pet travel, relocation and logistics company built around a simple idea: put pets first, always. By combining thoughtful planning, experienced professionals, and a global network of trusted partners, we make complex pet travel feel calm, coordinated, and stress-free for pet parents.  Our mission is to deliver safe, thoughtful, and stress-free pet travel experiences by operating to a higher standard—one built on reliability, experience, safety, and trust.
The R.E.S.T. Assured™ Operating Standard

R.E.S.T. Assured™ is Paws en route’s pet transportation solution and operating standard. It defines how we operate—not just what we offer—and ensures every journey meets the expectations of today’s pet parents.

R.E.S.T. Assured™ stands for:

Our technology, people, and processes are designed around preparedness and proactive planning, ensuring dependable outcomes and fewer unknowns.

Every journey is handled by caring, qualified, and thoroughly vetted pet travelprofessionals who understand both[DR1]   the welfare and theemotional needs of pet parents and their fur kids.

The physical and emotional wellbeing of pets is always our top priority. Safety is embedded into every decision, handoff, and process while pets are in our care.

We operate under a guardianship model, treating pets as part of the Paws enroute family and handling them with respect, compassion, and integrity at every stage.

R.E.S.T. Assured™ isn’t a promise—it’s the standard behind every journey we manage.
A Specialist-First Approach to Pet Travel

Unlike general relocation companies or “one-size-fits-all” providers, Paws en route is built specifically for pet travel and relocation. We don’t try to do everything ourselves or minimize the complexity of pet travel through standard checklists which ultimately exposes pets to risks. Instead, we curate best-in-class specialists for each part of the journey—crates, boarding/hotels, customs agents, and ground transport—so pets receive the highest level of care expert care at every step.

For the human side of relocation, we collaborate with trusted partners such as Atlas Canada for family relocation, ensuring both pets and people are supported by specialists in their respective fields. This approach allows us to deliver better outcomes without compromise.
Compassion, Certified and Trusted Globally

Paws en route is built by pet parents. We understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone’s pet and approach every journey with genuine compassion and attention to detail.

That care is reinforced by a strong global foundation. Through our network of 450 vetted agents across 90 countries, we’ve developed long-standing relationships that allow us to deliver a consistent level of service worldwide—no matter the destination.

Our team is highly qualified for pet travel and relocation with IATA and IPATA certifications.  This recognized by the major airlines who partner with Paws en route to deliver pet travel.

This combination of heart, qualifications, partnerships and infrastructure is why our clients trust us and why our reviews reflect the experiences we aim to deliver every day.
